Playing in the Snow

At the end of January we had a big snow storm that dumped almost a foot of snow on us. I wanted to get outside so I bundled Emmett up and we went outside.

This first picture is of fox digging in the snow.

Tyler took Emmett out in and stood him up in the snow.

You can kind of see in these pictures how deep the snow was.

Charlotte's Baptism

My niece, Charlotte was baptized on January 23rd, so Tyler, Emmett and I drove up to Idaho to be there. It was a fun day.

While we were at Derek and Amy's house we also took a bunch of family pictures.

First are the picture of my mom and dad with the Grandkids. Mom thought that Emily had been absent the whole time, but I have picture proof that she was there for a minute before she came wondering back in the room.

Then Emily came back in and by then Emmett was done being held by Papa.

But then we got Emmett to calm down again and I got a picture of almost everyone looking in my general direction.

 We then had family pictures without mom and dad, then with mom and dad.

Of course, Derek and Nate have to do something weird.

Emmett's 6 Months

He is such a cute boy, if I say so myself.

Richards New Year Party

On January 2nd the Richards family had their annual New Years Party. The party started with horse-drawn sleigh rides, then we had soup and hot chocolate to warm up.

Tyler even had me drive one round so he could warm up his hands.

Tyler's cousin and his wife had their daughter, Wren, 8 days after Emmett was born. We were laughing at the difference between them.
