Grant's 10-month pictures
This first picture was actually taken a few weeks ago, but it is one where he is actually smiling so I had to include it.
Yeah, this kid is not into smiling for the camera. (He must be related to his dad.)Oh, the faces this kid makes. I finally got him to make this face so I could get pictures of it with my camera. I thought that was a feat in itself.
Then.... back to serious. And watching Fox instead of looking at me!
Halloween
The day before Halloween, we finally got around to carving a pumpkin. Emmett liked cleaning the pumpkin out, and if you can see it, he also tried to draw his own face on the back of the pumpkin.
Emmett was a leopard (Grandma Richards made his costume) and Grant was an elephant. This first picture I took before I realized that I hadn't changed the lighting setting on my camera, but I thought it still turned out kind of cool so I thought I'd include it here.Oh the faces Grant makes. :)

Fall Fun at the American West Heritage Center
As part of my birthday, we went to the American West Heritage Center. They had a corn maze, train rides, and all sorts of fun.
Hike up the Wellsvilles
Tyler and I hiked up the Wellsvilles with my mom and dad. Mom made it to the ridge and rested there while the rest of us went up to the cone. It was fun and we were all sore the next day.
I had to zoom in pretty far for these pictures and I wasn't very stable, but this picture is of our neighborhood in Hyrum.
You can see the Logan temple in the middle of the picture.
Peterson Family Reunion 2017
We had our Peterson Family Reunion at Hopkins Park in Firth, Idaho. We started out the weekend at the zoo in Idaho Falls. There were all sorts of activities. There was the zip line, trampoline, slides, merry-go-round, train rides, and mud to play in. Here are some of the pictures from the weekend.
Derek and Emily on the swings.
The kid table.
Emmett was worn out!
Emmett loved the trampoline.
Grant in the Swing
Idaho Falls Zoo. It was just my boys and Amy and the girls.
Posing on the lion.
Oh, Emily and the faces she makes.
Emmett and Tyler on the tiger.
The petting zoo.
The kids had fun having Tyler spin the merry-go-round for them.
The Little Buckaroo Rodeo Parade.
This is how Parker looked the whole time.
Emmett was so excited for the train ride...
But he was so tired, he fell asleep! Good thing Josh was holding him. He was sad when he woke up after sleeping on Tyler and finding out that the train rides were over.
Tyler went down the slide with the little kids.
Water balloon fun.
The zip line was pretty fun.
And my husband, the show-off. One-handed and very relaxed, compared to what I looked like.
